Job Description

Our client is worldwide transport and logistics leader that supports clients in their daily work, by helping them overcome their logistical constraints. They have five complementary lines of business that offer clients a unique skill set at each step of the supply chain.

The Warehouse Facility Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry. They will be responsible for managing people, logistics, and maintaining inventory levels while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a robust sense of safety, an oil and gas industry background, experience using SAP, and a proven track record of successful leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, staff, and inventory
- Train and manage staff, providing leadership and guidance as needed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and logistics
- Coordinate with other Warehouses Coordinate material and equipment shipments from and between storage locations
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies
- Utilize SAP to manage inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
