Two-Way Radio Infrastructure Technician

Our client is looking for an Electronic Field Service Technician with IT experience in system administration, networking, and security background, Two-Way Radio, RF or LMR experience would be a bonus. On a Day-to-day basis you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain 2-way radio systems including repeaters, dispatch consoles, phone systems, BDAs, network equipment, and antenna systems. If you have experience with Low Voltage Electronics and Computing including Networking and Security, you may be a good fit for this. You must also be mechanically inclined.

Normal business hours are Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1700 and there is some overnight travel required to service remote customer locations as needed. Generally, you will be away from home about 1 week a month, though you would be home on weekends. Special projects may increase this number.

Overtime varies by current projects and support needs. Techs assigned to large projects average 5-10 hours of overtime per week.

Performance review will be conducted after 90 days and may include a salary increase.

$24 - $26/hr DOE + Overtime. Benefits: Employer funded medical plan (employee only; spouse and family can be added at cost to employee). Dental and Vision available at extra cost. Paid vacation and company match Simple IRA (3%) available first year.
