Training and Technical Support Specialist
The TTSS must be a heavy wheeled vehicle / equipment mechanic, subject matter expert, who is also comfortable with speaking with customers and troubleshooting their equipment issues.
The company is looking for a heavy equipment mechanic (larger trucks; hydraulic components; crane; heavy wheeled vehicles,) who also is great at problem solving and customer service.
The TTSS will also be expected to assist the technical training department in training classes as needed; assist the warranty department with failure analysis as required; and participate in special events such as specified by their supervisor.
The candidate must have excellent product technical knowledge; the ability to work with dealer and customer personnel; and be an individual who solves machine technical problems and works to develop dealers to improve machine support.
Clear technical reports must be filed as required. The right candidate will be rewarded with future job advancement to a District Product Support Manager.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assisting the training department with training materials and training activities.
- Communicating complex technical information by phone, written documentation, or in person.
- Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; and be able to assist dealers in troubleshooting difficult problems in the field as required.
This position requires some travel. Typically, but not limited to up to three days per week for regular dealer visits. This travel can be via vehicle or air, depending on the site visit. Travel may be outside the USA; a valid US or Canadian passport is required.
Travel should be arranged to minimize expenses to the company.
Trip and expense reports must be filed weekly.
$60 - $70k medical, dental, vision, and 401k, plus possible sign on bonus and yearly bonus.
