Territory Sales Rep

This company produces industrial air compressors and systems, and they are looking for a strong, moldable performer to take on a new challenge in the new Portland, OR market. The company boasts almost 7, 000 employees and is known worldwide as a leader in its industry.
The candidate will report to a Branch Manager and Sales Manager and will support the sales needs for the area. You will work directly with your industrial contacts (mainly maintenance managers and directors) to understand the needs within their plant and provide exceptional service in offering the right product. You will undergo extensive operational training on the product offering and become a subject matter expert in the products you support.
Due to the newer footprint in the region, you will be reaching out to introduce yourself and your products to those customers directly. This remote, home-based role will require you to call and then meet with customers face to face. The travel is minimal overnight but will require a day trip here or there every two weeks or so to meet with customers on the outskirts of your region.
The company will offer a great salary and a competitive commission program, a bonus, a company car (with gas and all maintenance covered), a laptop, and a cell phone. It's not uncommon to make over six figures in this role.
