One of the largest industrial air compressors and systems producers, this company is looking for a robust and moldable performer to take on a challenge in the Philadelphia/New Castle/York markets. The company boasts almost 7, 000 employees and is known worldwide as a leader in its industry.
This role, reporting to a Branch Manager and Sales Manager, will have you supporting the sales needs for the Greater Philadelphia area.You'll be able to work directly with your Maintenance Managers and Directors, to understand the needs within their plant and provide exceptional service in offering the right product. You will undergo extensive operational training on the product offering and become a subject matter expert in the products you support.
You will reach out to introduce products directly to those customers. You will schedule and meet with customers face to face. The travel has minimal overnights but will require a day trip here or there every two weeks or so to meet with customers on the outskirts of your region. The company will offer a great commission program, a company car (with gas and all maintenance covered), a laptop, and a cell phone.
Who are you? You are an energetic relationship builder who can drive your compensation based on your performance. It's not uncommon for successful Territory Managers to make over six-figures after their territory has been established. Ideally, you have some formal sales training. Still, if not, the company will dig into your personality and DNA to ensure you have the right mix of technical acumen and persuasion to succeed.
