Technical Sales Representative

Job Description
They are expanding their sales team and looking to add an outside salesperson. As an outside sales representative you will travel to power plants within your territory, developing new relationships and growing existing relationships with the goal of identifying sales opportunities. This role will utilize a fully developed proprietary CRM database to facilitate prospecting and market coverage.

This is a remote position with the bulk of your time being spent making on-site in person visits, and the balance spent working from home. They provide considerable support including training, CRM access, and other internal resources. You will be paired with a project engineer in the territory to provide you with all the technical support required to prospect and close opportunities. The majority of the sales opportunities have a unique set of circumstances requiring a customized solution, hence teaming up with their engineering department. Once you have identified an opportunity, you will involve your engineering counterpart, coordinate a technical visit, and navigate the sale together from quoting to closing.
The company is looking for strong veteran talent with the right personality and drive to succeed. Need to have technical aptitude to understand products and be a consultative salesperson.
Currently needs in California, Houston, and on the East Coast.
Base plus a compensation plan. Can easily make over six-figure? Plus, once settled in territory. They also cover all travel, and you will receive $10k year car allowance. Great benefits and a 401k program. 75% travel 25% work from home.
