Technical Networking Specialist

Our client is looking for a Technical Network Specialist for their Non-Destructive Testing Division with remote flexibility.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work directly with amazing customers, both remotely and on-site, to provide customized solutions that will include the archival and networking of images from both Computer Radiography (CR) and Digital Detector Arrays (DDA) systems.

Responsibilities:


- Work with software developers and enhance functionalities.
- Qualify all computer hardware and OS changes prior to market launch.
- Perform Digital-Imaging application testing in support of sales efforts.
- Provide archival and networking solutions for current and potential customers.
- Pre-stage and QA all digital-imaging systems before shipment.
- Installation of equipment and software in the field.
- Customer's operational and application training.
- Provide technical support both on the phone and on-site as needed.
- Maintain digital-imaging systems for NDT Lab use and field demos.
- Participate on industry technical committees (ASTM, ASNT, ASME ) in support of company's equipment and software interests.
- Maintain database of all equipment and software installations.

Requirements:

- 3+ years' experience in the IT field performing network related tasks with current operating systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication ability.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. When not traveling you will be working out of their HQ in Wilton, CT.

Desired:


- 3+ years' experience in radiography or networking
- Computer Science, Engineering, degree in Industrial Technology (NDT), or relevant field.
