Job Description

Are you ready to take on an exciting leadership role in the electrical utility industry? Our client has an amazing opportunity for you to join their team as a Nuclear System Operations Supervisor.

As the Nuclear System Operations Supervisor, you will lead the team responsible for controlling and monitoring the company's distribution system to ensure maximum safety, efficiency, and reliability. You will take charge of service interruptions and supervise the service restoration process, ensuring their members' power is restored as quickly and safely as possible, using the advanced tools available in the Control Center.

Your excellent communication skills will be put to good use as you provide day-to-day work direction and leadership to System Operators, ensuring high accuracy, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of safety, outage restoration, switching, radio operation, and member service. You will also play a crucial role in administering and updating department training programs, developing employees, and ensuring their competence and confidence in operating complex operational systems.

As a supervisor, you will be at the forefront of maintaining the electrical utility network's safe and efficient operation during both normal and escalated operations. Your leadership will contribute to the seamless functioning of the utility services that millions rely on.

You will be the go-to contact during contract negotiations and will respond to day-to-day questions, fostering a positive work environment for everyone.

In the rare instances of major problems, your expertise may be required on-site, demonstrating your commitment to ensuring the seamless operation of the electrical utility system.
