World leading Engineering firm specializing in industrial weighing, bulk materials loading, control and automation systems has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer to produce structural engineering designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues. The organization has built its reputation around the highest level of customer support, innovative technology and dedicated account management required by customers around the world. To be considered a strong candidate you must possess strong computer, communication, and negotiation skills and have solid experience designing steel structures.

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Compensation: $75 - $90k

-Completes feasibility studies by studying project concepts, objectives, priorities and requirements; conducts site investigations; identifies and establishes performance standards; prepares construction documents and submittals.

-Develops structural design plans by researching, analyzing, selecting and applying structural engineering concepts, approaches; adapting and modifying structural mechanics options; developing and evaluating new structural architectures and algorithms; performing design calculations relating to foundations and structures, loading, structural response, and connection design; preparing drawings and visualizations; collaborating with related engineering design teams; evaluating structural materials and suppliers; identifying and resolving design integration issues; determining and establishing design specifications and safety standards.
