Sr. Project Engineer
Hybrid Travel, MA US
The position is a remote role and the candidate can be located within 75 miles of any Ocean Spray Manufacturing Facility: Middleboro, MA, Boston, MA, Allentown, PA, Henderson, NV, Kenosha/Tomah/Wisconsin Rapids-WI, Sulphur Springs, TX, Aberdeen, WA, but you should expect 40-50% travel to support these facilities.
Half of the time you will be working directly from home and the other half will have you traveling to the other manufacturing plants on an as-needed basis. You must be comfortable with this lifestyle as they cannot guarantee a consistent schedule. Machines break on their own schedule unfortunately.
This organization seeks a Senior Project Engineer to offer dynamic technical leadership for capital projects, overseeing the entire process from concept to commissioning and supporting various initiatives and plant operations. Collaborating with business and operations partners, the role involves scoping, designing, budgeting, and installing infrastructure and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities, while also identifying and implementing process improvements for existing lines. The position reports to a Senior Engineering Manager and former Air Force aircraft maintenance officer, with approximately 9 years of experience at Ocean Spray. He is known for his no-nonsense leadership style and aims to cultivate a culture of trust and empowerment, seeking like-minded veterans to join his team and contribute to problem-solving and efficient execution. If this resonates with your career aspirations, this opportunity may be your next professional home.
