Software Support Engineer
The Support Engineer will have a strong customer service background (someone with help desk experience a massive plus) in helping to understand how the IT/IS problem affect the daily use of high-tech, medical material equipment used in hospitals and medical centers, worldwide. You will work in a new, state-of-the-art company headquarters with the other SSEs, becoming the IT triage desk that may occur.
The company is looking for someone with a strong IT background. The systems they use are mainly Windows but someone with LINUX experience could work as well. You should have a strong troubleshooting background from the military in IT or IS situations. Some familiarity with electronics is great but not the primary skill the company is looking for. Any background in SQL or other databases would be a huge plus.
This is a day-shift, Monday - Friday role with an on-call rotation that occurs every 3 - 4 weeks.
