The role of a Shift Electrician is to take care of all related electrical maintenance, assist the mechanical team in troubleshooting and repairs, and provide technical support and assistance to the production team.
They need candidates with a positive attitude, who are goal oriented, interested in self-improvement, and team oriented. They need candidates with a good foundation in electrical theory who have experience in performing electrical troubleshooting, routine and corrective maintenance on AC/DC motors, starters and drives, power distribution, control systems, PLCs and overhead cranes.
You will also need to have basic mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge. This is one of the few companies that an electrician is entrusted with all aspects of the facility, high/medium voltage work, programming, networking, if it has an electron going to it (and often if it doesn't) you will work on it at this company.

They start you out with a safety training program, as safety is something taken very seriously there. You will also receive advanced training on their machinery and equipment, including PLCs, AC/DC drives, HMI software, hydraulics and more.
This is a rotating 12-hour shift position, 4 on 4 off rotating between days and nights. Employees there love this shift.
Base salary, plus overtime and production bonus that is paid on a weekly basis.
