Job Description
You will leave on Monday and work onsite Tuesday-Thursday and then head home on Friday. You will travel to the US, Canada, as well as South America. Most work will be installing the equipment and then training the customer's team on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Shop work is Monday-Friday. You will be assembling equipment, and answering service calls over the phone. For about 90%of your work, you will use a computer to troubleshoot a sensor or PLC code error. You will not be required to write PLC code. Just find the coding error and work with the Control Engineer to fix it. You need to be able to read ladder logic diagrams live. Outside of that, the work is primarily mechanical.
Base salary depends on experience and work schedule. There is also the opportunity for a sign-on bonus for folks who need to relocate for the role.
