Job Description
For over 60 years, this client has provided mission-critical wireless communication solutions for Public Safety and Commercial customers. This client sells and supports two-way radios, mobile phones and computers, surveillance cameras, barcode scanners, and other wireless communication equipment, and is a primary Motorola Solutions dealer. They also provide networking equipment, including mesh broadband networks and radio interoperability systems. This company sells to corporate and government organizations, primarily in the US.
Field Service Technicians are their boots on the ground techs that help service equipment. They are looking for folks who are coming out of the sat-comms fields, RF backgrounds, and those with knowledge of battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, multicouplers, and duplexers, TCP/IP principles and NIC programming.
They are looking for those with proficiencies in operating various test equipment including, but not limited to, spectrum analyzers, system analyzers, watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, and multi-meters, and installing distributed antenna systems (DAS) and bidirectional amplifier (BDA) systems.
This is a 75% regional traveling job where you're home each night (think a 4-hour radius of your territory). All travel expenses are paid and you get a company work truck.
