Job Description

Did you know that compressed air is known as the fourth utility? It's essential for applications from aerospace exploration, food processing and packaging, oil and gas production and refinement, and everywhere. Our client is looking for smart, energetic, and self-starter Field Service Technicians to join the team.

Here's what you will do.

Your working hours will be 7am - 4pm Monday? Friday, unless overtime is required. You will work remotely from your home where you are on the clock from the moment you leave until the moment you arrive back home in the evening. A company vehicle, gas card, and American Express will be provided. There is minimal travel required and you should expect to be home most of the year.

As you begin your new Field Service position you will work directly with your direct report and a senior technician early on to ensure you're set up for success. You will be supported by formal training, OJT, and a number of systems in place to ensure you have all the tools available to complete your assigned task.

Each week will be planned a week in advance, however, you may be redirected for high-priority calls as needed.

- You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
- You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer's equipment pad, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks
- You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
- You will fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
- You will train and assist other service technicians
- You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
- You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
- You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager
