Senior Manufacturing Technician
The successful candidate will perform senior level mechanical assembly operations and provide high level technical support to engineers on standard components and equipment using the Company's established processes, procedures, and work instructions taking personal responsibility for quality of work performed.
Duties and responsibilities:
-Perform complex mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework some test and repair of various products and mechanical assemblies
-Work from standard assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches and running sheets of significant complexity
-Use judgment in re-working to bring unit within quality control specifications
-Testing, inspection, and repairing mechanical assemblies
-Works under minimal supervision and provide guidance to other technicians
-Ability to work in a team environment and capable of performing related manufacturing processes
-Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules
-Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company
-Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials
-Meet production deadlines and quality specifications
-Ability to work overtime and/or off shift (2nd shift) when required
Our client operates on a 9/80 work schedule, with eligibility to work 80 hours in 9 days and have every other Friday off. *The 9/80 schedule has been suspended for 6 months. They are currently working a 5 x 10 every week. However, that means the schedule has a built in 10 hours of overtime each week at time and a half.
Starting base pay is $25 - $28/hr. Subject to overtime at time and a half. At current pace of 50 hours a week total comp will be $65 - $72k.
