Sales Representative

Industry: Elec. Equip/Consumer Elec. Job Number: 46776 Pay Rate: $75 - $90k
In this role you will be responsible for sales of new elevator and escalator equipment with possible responsibilities for individual project management. You will need to develop and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, architects and developers, you will need to build on existing relationships and form new ones.

They need someone with either sales experience or a sales acumen who has strong communication skills and a high motor and high energy. You will need to learn to prepare estimates, proposals and bids and coordinate with necessary departments and management, utilizing company estimating system and process. You will need to prepare winning strategies to secure each project and follow through to completion. You will assist in developing customer presentations on product services and conduct customer presentations. At times you will entertain customers, occasionally attending evening business social functions/dinners. Once you are awarded the sale you will transfer sold project data into project management system and support the Project Management team's efforts to manage sold projects. You will at times attend pre-bid conferences, job site and customer meetings (mostly for the Bay Area).

You will plan and track project schedules and equipment deliveries, as necessary. You will need to assist in collecting competitor/ market data as required and perform project site surveys as necessary when dealing with existing buildings or site conditions that warrant a survey. You will need to gain an understanding both Company and Competitors' product lines thoroughly. This is a position that is focused on the Bay area so there will be no overnight other than for training purposes, but you will receive a vehicle allowance.
