Job Description

Our client, headquartered in Roanoke, VA, designs, develops, and engineers advanced automation systems, large AC and DC motors, photovoltaic inverters, and variable frequency drives. They specialize in metals, material handling, oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, testing and other industrial markets worldwide.

The Sales Application/Solutions Engineer will work with customers/clients to help find solutions (not cold calling) to make equipment more modern, more efficient, and improve their processes. Working with worldwide clients, there will be international travel. You will be responsible for building relationships and networks with commercial and technical clients and vendors to bring in more business within the metals and material handling markets. Preparing timely and accurate proposals and technical specifications to support the sales function will be essential.
