Job Description

This company was founded in a garage by the current President and founder. After a tragic fire in 2022, a brand-new world-class facility has been built, and the work to rebuild and strengthen internally is well on its way. This is the perfect opportunity to enter the manufacturing/engineering world without an engineering degree.

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing safety protocols ensuring the well-being of personnel. Your primary duty is to guarantee compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines, aiming to minimize work-related incidents and enhance overall safety.

The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8 am - 4: 30 pm.

The Safety Coordinator's duties include developing and executing tailored safety plans for operations, conducting regular safety observations, participating in project safety walks, educating personnel on safety standards, providing recommendations for improved safety, investigating accidents, maintaining comprehensive safety documentation, implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, advising and leading personnel on safety topics, conducting educational seminars/webinars, reviewing and updating safety policies, collaborating with HR on military-specific onboarding, and serving as a liaison with external safety agencies.
