One of the key responsibilities of the Reliability Engineer is to champion reliability-centered maintenance activities, applying professional maintenance techniques to enhance equipment reliability. The engineer is also responsible for capturing and reporting key performance indicators related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes. Another crucial duty of the Reliability Engineer is to establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs and maintain equipment maintenance history databases. Candidates with experience in electrical maintenance can leverage their expertise in areas such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermal imaging to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of these programs. Their hands-on experience with electrical systems and equipment makes them well-qualified to oversee and improve these crucial aspects of maintenance.
The Reliability Engineer is also responsible for analyzing maintenance key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. They really want someone who is disciplined, experienced with electrical engineering, predictive and preventative maintenance, and root cause analysis. They have a lot of custom-made equipment that you have probably never seen before, so you must be hard wired for learning, someone who wants to learn and grow with them, being in it for the long haul.
This is a Monday - Friday day shift role 7am to 3pm but there is some flexibility to these hours. You will also be on call for emergencies and outages. It is rare but you will work some weekends when these do occur.
Base salary DOE, plus a great benefits package, and a 10% bonus that could be more.
