The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling all products and solutions, particularly ICS categories (engineered components, parts, and service). Travel is expected a minimum of 60% of the time throughout the Northeast (CT, RI, NJ, NY, PA, MA, ME, VT) and parts of Canada. A bulk of the time in the territory should be spent in the "installation dense" areas of the territory. There should be a special focus on developing and maintaining profitable relationships while maintaining a professional image of company. The Sales Engineer must be able to technically understand vacuum and atmosphere products, develop the market of the territory or products assigned, develop customer and prospective relationships, and meet sales objectives. This position also requires strong communication with the Regional Sales Owners and Regional Service Managers within given territories and the ability to communicate needed resources to help grow the full line of the company's offerings.
