Radiological Controls Technician
This position will provide radiological controls for the removal and disposal of radioactive/contaminated materials and equipment and will ensure that work is being performed to strict radiological controls standards and procedures.
This position will also complete radiological surveys, provide job quality oversight, respond to radiological emergencies, control radioactive material, and interact positively with operations, project management, customer, and regulator personnel.
The successful candidate must be either Lab RC 0288 Article 108 qualified or be capable of attending a six (6) month training program at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The company will pay for your lodging while you are at training and then give you a pay bump upon completion of the training program.
$28/hr while attending training. $35/hr once you complete training + ample overtime. Every other Friday off work!
