Essential Functions: Identify needed improvements, communicate and maintain company-level policies that ensure compliance to disciplines that include, but are not limited to:
Quality - Product Realization, Manufacturing, Document and Records Management, Corrective and Preventive Actions Procedures
Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Conditions - Methods for performing work. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point plans. Good Manufacturing Practices. Housekeeping standards. Business Continuity. Layered Process Audits. Field trouble shooting guides (Sales, Brokers, Tech, Filler Group). Work with Corporate Quality Director as a valuable Team Member to achieve Business Goals and Objectives: Manage the overall quality direction of the plant by maintaining the Plant Quality Plan - consistent with corporate - standardize with other plants. Identify and arrange for training needs to improve skill sets for disciplines such as root cause investigation, MOC, and corrective/preventive actions implementation. Lead plant resources to successfully achieve business-critical / site initiatives (i.E. SQF, Kosher, Customer-specific requirements). Organize DOE, Gage R&R, and other studies relating to process improvement and product development. Collate and analyze quality performance data and charts against defined parameters.
Facilitate needed change and sustain a culture that is based on continuous improvement: Define measures and goals for quality performance and communicate status to corporate and site leadership for driving improvement. Serve as mentor and coach quality resources at all levels of the plant. Identify training needs for quality resources and key personnel. Participate in quality progress meetings to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer related incidents. Support staff of different disciplines to drive the group to plan, formulate, and agree to comprehensive process systems that ensure successful product launch. Facilitate "Best Practice" opportunities. Cultivate a plant culture that is regarded as the industry leader. Partner with customers to ensure their needs are understood and met. Identify opportunities to showcase the plant, its people, abilities, and products in a positive manner. Participate in trade reviews / quality peer events. Facilitate cross-functional rapid response problem solving and complaint response teams. Support and maintain compliance to SQF policies and procedures with national and international standards and legislation. Partner with Product Stewardship to review impending changes for impact to organization; communicate those changes and ensure effective implementation, as applicable. Conduct comprehensive or targeted scope assessments to identify and drive benchmarking opportunities between sites and groups. Ensure relevancy of quality control plans, PQCT, and FMEA documentation.
This is a Monday-Friday day shift. Pay is somewhere in the $90 -$100k range with a 4% production performance bonus and potential relocation assistance.
