Purchasing Assistant

Job Description
- Place purchase orders as directed by the Operations Manager
- Verify purchase order documentation requirements transmitted to sellers
- Follow up on long lead time orders
- Assist in inventory control
- Enter AP invoices
- Screen incoming mail and distribute daily
- Any other tasks as assigned
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Day to day office functional experience
- Purchasing, bookkeeping and generic accounting experience
- Proficiency in the use of computers for data storage, word processing, spreadsheets, and the ability to access the internet
- Government purchasing experience a plus
- SAP B1 experience is preferred
Special knowledge and skills required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized with solid time management skills
- Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
Malvern Pa. (30-45 mins from Philly). Monday? Friday, 8am - 4pm (no weekends, no nights)
Base salary, 85% of health, dental, vision insurance paid, $1500 annual contribution to health savings account if you choose. 3% 401k matching after 1 year, 100% for single person, 10 holidays, 5 sick and 10 vacation days (prorated first year). Plus, a quarterly bonus.
