Project Specialist - Security

In this role you will install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with guidance as needed. This position will mostly work with a large client in the Healthcare industry doing terminations of old systems and then installing and commissioning new systems (portals, doors, access controls systems). Overnight travel is minimal for this role, maybe 10-15%. You will interface with colleagues for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such is accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. They need someone who is familiar with and can interpret basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and can repair equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools to determine installation procedures. You will operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions and writes routine programs for systems. You will act as the customer's best service provider at all times thereby ensuring the Company is the customer's first choice for service. You will take ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. They also need someone with basic mechanical and electrical aptitude (for example works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, and crimper). You will also need good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and basic organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. In this role they need an Electronics Technician or Electrician with experience programming and integrating systems.

$45 to $55k salary DOE but it is overtime eligible (overtime is based on customer needs). Great benefits experience. Company vehicle, they pay for gas, maintenance and insurance.
Up to 50% overnight travel
