Job Summary:
- Accountable for the efficient and profitable operation of the business unit
- Accountable for the safe operation of the business unit
- Responsible for the retention of contracts in the business unit
- Discover and research potential new contracts
- Required to overcome and improve and problems within assigned departments
- Management and direction of department staff members

Budgets / Profit Loss:
- Improve revenue generation, operational safety, and efficiency within the division
- Responsible for financial performance within the division
- Review and address all costs and capital expenditures within the division
- Review and address the profitability of contracts within the division
- Work with Deputy Director and Senior Project Manager to formulate a yearly budget for assigned business unit Comply with budget parameters
- Responsible to drive area revenue and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operation strategies, consistently throughout the business unit

Customer Relations:
- Understand each client MSA and ensure necessary details are shared with leadership and administrative support departments to meet agreed upon client obligations
- Provide excellent customer service to all business partners and hold the division accountable to the measurable results associated
- Inform Senior Project Manager of any new contract opportunities within existing relationships
- Responsible for assisting with the completion of contract rebids and audits
- Ensure contractual obligations are met
- Maintain a strong working relationship between the company, contractors, and company's clients
- Meet with utility representatives, at their convenience, to discuss performance and ideas to improve all facets of our relationship
- Attend all industry association meetings and conferences within service territory as requested
- Update client/one call with any contract changes

Sales:
- Review and plan for new contract opportunities
- Make Senior Project Manager aware of any potential new contracts or leads
- Assist with the completion of contract bids, RFPs, and RFIs
- Attend all industry association meetings and conferences within service territory as requested
- Promote and publicize the company by way of networking, relationship management, social media, branding and other possible opportunities that may arise

Operations:
- Attend weekly leadership meeting present FLM, revenue and other pertinent information
- Host a weekly meeting for divisional staff
- Responsible to drive area revenue and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies consistently across the division
- Know and manage the business by effectively using reports to assess division results
- Provide support and guidance for each the division
- Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans
- Provide support and guidance for all employees assigned
- Ensure staff has the tools and information they need to successfully work their areas
- Require and verify, that all employees maintain a safe work environment
- Verify all employees are exhibiting proper representation of the company and their clients
- Support, inform, communicate, educate, and motivate Divisional Staff
- Generate, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly Operational reports including all incentive program reports
- Review productivity, timeliness, and quality
- Plan for ongoing training and retraining programs
- Understand and hold staff responsible for the understanding, reviewing and following the business continuity plan
