Project Manager

An immediate opportunity exists for a qualified candidate with demonstrated project management, engineering experience and a proven track record. The successful candidate will work directly with customers, Danish back office, and local service and installation team to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, schedule and budget. You will coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are on track.

General expectations:

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to be shared with customers and project team to monitor and track progress
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the end customer and all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including customer deliverables
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop project cost estimates to support Bid & Proposal activities
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Documenting relevant work for example, control descriptions to ensure that relevant knowledge stays in-house, and sharing it with relevant departments both in US and in DK. (for example, Service and R&D department in Denmark)
- Carry out tasks as defined and approved by the Department Manager, select and utilize relevant components, materials, tools and so on, that are to be used in the Company
- Work in a disciplined manner and have a strong sense of safety and quality

It is advantageous if:

- You have a general broad technical understanding of a complex piece of equipment with several subsystems (hydrogen circuit, cooling system, electrical system)
- You have general knowledge about ATEX zones / classified areas
- You have general knowledge about pressurized equipment
- General knowledge about standards and codes used within the hydrogen industry such as NFPA, the HGV series of standards, ASME and so on
- You are able to review CAD-drawings
- You are able to read P&IDs
- Work in a disciplined manner and have a strong sense of quality
- Be a team player with great coordination skills
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Be independent, flexible and have "drive"
- Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be technically well grounded
- Develop and track budgets

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
