Job Description

This client is a leading provider of a full range of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the industrial, commercial, medical, energy, agriculture, and HVAC markets. They are based out of Sioux Falls, SD and looking to lean onto military veteran talent for a Production Team Manager position.

This opportunity is within a growing, dynamic manufacturing company where you'll be working with leading edge technology in a fast-paced industry. No day will ever be the same, but you can expect the following to be a part of your duty requirements:

- Manage and coordinate daily production schedule including staffing and scheduling of equipment and processes
- Conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions; addresses complaints and resolves problems

Ensure that company policies and procedures are being followed:

- Identifies and facilitates training and growth opportunities for production teams and assists with developing/implementing required training
- Identifies, monitors, and takes action to improve production related metrics using lean methodologies to drive improvement efforts
- Ensures that appropriate safety and ergonomic processes and methods are being utilized in the production areas. Identifies and implements solutions to improve safety
- Communicate and interact with planning, engineering, facilities, and other production teams to meet quality and production goals
- Monitor production schedules to determine requirements for completion of job assignments
- Assist production teams with establishing priorities and develop staffing plans and shipping dates
- Assist in preparing staffing and budget plans

Shift runs from 4pm-3am, Monday -Thursday, every week is a 3 day weekend.
