The main function of this role is to ensure the uninterrupted continuity of the facility, manufacturing, support systems and processes. You will directly supervise the maintenance team. You will interview, hire and train new employees. You will plan, assign and direct the work flow of your team. You will reward and discipline as necessary. You will address and resolve employee issues and complaints. You will achieve the company's goals in safety, quality and productivity. You are part of the management team and responsible for helping to review the current efficiency, make recommendations and implement improvements. Work orders, purchase orders, inventory control and accurate equipment history falls under your team as well. You will also troubleshoot and repair equipment.
This team needs a leader that can guide the team to accomplish the company's mission. You will institute leadership, and use your expertise to train, evaluate, and coach your team. While you have to be a strong leader, you have to be open to new ideas. You will be leading a senior team, have to be able to expect resistance, and lead through it. Strong Electronic background is preferred. PLC knowledge is a huge plus. Degree not required but it is preferred. You must be open to shift work, immediate opening for 2nd Shift.
