As a Production Manager, you will supervise and support the team daily, applying a team approach and maintaining open communication with multiple cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for safety, scheduling, strategizing, and oversight of all production activities that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
This position acts as the point person for the safe and regulatory-compliant operation of the plant. You will need to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, by directly supervising process operators who work on a 24-hour rotating shift schedule, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the process improvement goals.
The plant manager is looking for a technical leader. A technical degree or Navy nuclear background will suffice. The team is looking for someone to invest in and grow into the role. Strong engineering or manufacturing leadership experience will help win this interview.
