Plant Maintenance Technician
Elk Grove Village, IL
Plant Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for care and maintenance of all property and production equipment in a safe, sanitary and efficient condition that complies with food safety and OSHA regulations.
Mechanic will assist in supporting product manufacturing by ensuring that all assigned production equipment operates efficiently, mechanically and electrically, by repairing, altering, installing, and remanufacturing plant equipment.
This person will repair, conduct preventative maintenance, assemble, dismantle and handle the rebuilding of machinery. We need someone who is smart on their feet and can think quickly to troubleshoot the machinery.
- Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Conducts basic installation, maintenance, modification, calibration and repair on electronic and electrical instrumentation, equipment and control systems.
- Performs elementary troubleshooting and repair of motor control centers, electro-mechanical drives and sub-electrical panels using volt-ohm-amp meters.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic controls and systems.
Compensation: $28 - $32/hour + overtime, full benefits:

1st Shift (430am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime on Saturday is always available), open to working the swing shift (10am- 830pm as needed.)
