Plant Engineer

This role is responsible for managing the activities of the maintenance department at a very high-level. This is not a hands-on, wrench-turning role. This is the operational leadership of the entire direction of a maintenance organization with one of the largest food companies in the globe. You should have the ability to lead people that are in a complex system of processes, running Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, and having a never fail mentality.

Your maintenance leadership will be tested by delegating responsibilities, scheduling of major maintenance work, and driving safe operations overall.

This site is a packaged site focusing on case-ready products that are used all across the world. As you grow, you will develop and grow into a Plant Manager or higher-level role within the company. The company is looking for people who develop beyond this role for future growth.

Key candidates would be Junior Officers with a Maintenance background or SNCOs that have the experience coupled with a 4-year degree.

Base salary, plus bonus, plus full benefits. Relocation may be discussed for the right candidate.
This role is giving someone a tremendous amount of responsibility to manage the maintenance operations that includes roughly 30 maintenance subject matter experts. You will have the ability to drive the effectiveness of a maintenance process and have your thumbprint all over the direction of the maintenance. The person will be looked at as a key leader to grow internally to the company's leadership operations. This is not a dead-end role. This is a career with a massive company with global operations.
