PCBA Maintenance Technician

In this role you will apply basic electro-mechanical trouble shooting skills to perform preventative maintenance and equipment down repairs on PCBA (Printed Circuit Board) process equipment (Panasonic CM, DT, NPM, MPM Screen Print, API, AOI, Reflow oven, Laser etch, X-Ray, and so on) as primary job function. You will need to show you have basic troubleshooting skills of electrical/electronic systems - locate shorts in wiring; use multimeter to check continuity, power, and phases, use amp probe, and so on. You will also conduct basic tests or analysis on production equipment to determine if they are operable and apply standard troubleshooting techniques to determine and correct for malfunctions.

You will need to prove you are capable of operating and performing maintenance on SMT equipment; Insert/Onsert, Screen Print, Inspection (API, AOI), Reflow oven, Laser Etch, X-Ray, and so on, as required. You will need strong oral and written communication skills as you will develop and conduct machine operator training.

Tooling - Use of power tools to fabricate non-precision parts that is, sensor brackets, and so on.

Makes effective technical decisions and communicates them to Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Management to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

This is a 5th shift position that works Friday-Sunday night and the hours are 5 PM to 5 AM. Most techs work a fourth night when they can for overtime.

Multiple levels, $22 - $25/hr plus shift differential and overtime. Matching 401k, 15 days vacation - one-week company shut-down at end of the year, 13 holidays, and tuition reimbursement.
