Operations Manager

The successful Operations Manager will be an excellent communicator who knows how to get things done, on time, and on budget. This key role will report directly to the CEO and will function as the integrator of numerous functional areas including sales, finance, logistics, and procurement. We need someone who can build relationships across the company and externally to our customers and suppliers. We need this person to understand the business processes and ensure that everything is sequenced properly and that everyone is rowing in the same direction.

The right individual for this role will have experience managing multiple teams in multiple areas. This will include proven leadership skills, experience dealing with client expectations, and project management skills in the field. Proven decision maker who thrives in the turbulent environment of a high growth company. This opportunity will have room for personal / professional development over time. This position has no direct reports but will indirectly influence the personnel in all functional areas.

Responsibilities include:

- Understand all functional areas of company

- Drive operations success by revising and developing policies and procedures

- Coordinate and integrate inventory management including forecasting and coordinating purchasing and logistics

- Liaison with sales, procurement, finance, and logistics functional areas

- Simultaneously lead a variety of operational duties

- Propose strategic technological improvements to promote continual growth

- Ensure company compliance with all regulatory requirements at the state and federal level for all company products

- Improve revenue generation, operational safety, and efficiency of areas assigned

- Ensure effective communication and promotion of company culture throughout all divisions and functional areas

- Responsible to consistently and effectively communicating the company objectives to all management teams through organized and scheduled meetings, conference calls, web meetings, and email

- Understand and provide directional oversight on HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance consistently across company

- Accountable to CEO to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans

- Support, Inform, Communicate, Educate, and Motivate Divisional Staff

- Generate, analyze, and distribute Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Operational reports including all incentive program reports

- Understand and hold office staff responsible for the understanding, reviewing and following the business continuity plan
