The Operations Manager will oversee the performance and satisfaction of employees in the Distribution Center and Operations Center. Your responsibilities will include organizing scheduling, onboarding, and training and serving as the primary contact with headquarters management. You will also provide guidance, monitor internal processes, and foster a positive company culture.
The company is looking at tremendous growth within this site. It needs an experienced leader who can motivate and create a structure for the team but also help stabilize the work environment and provide hands-on leadership. The expectation is that you are entrenched in the daily operations and spend most of the time assisting the team in hitting and exceeding their goals. Leaders who lead from an "ivory tower" need not apply.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate has some level of supply chain/warehousing/distribution leadership from the military who understands the inbound and outbound aspects of the processes. You are a firm but fair leader who is honest, direct, and compassionate. You also are comfortable with leading in environments that may be politically sensitive as you will have privileged information and reporting responsibilities to the performance of other teams not under your direct responsibility. Beyond impeccable leadership skills, you should also be familiar with computer systems.
