Mechanical Integrity Technologist

Our client is a leading manufacturer of film interlayer products, has an opening at its Indian Orchard, MA location for a Mechanical Integrity Technologist. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, managing the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity Inspection program and preventative maintenance programs.

Your primary responsibilities include the following:
- Serve as the site lead for Mechanical Integrity in compliance with our corporate Process Safety Policy requirements and OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Oversee the sites OSHA PSM Mechanical Integrity Inspection program and maintain verifiable records and documentation for a variety of tanks, vessels and piping within Manufacturing
- Manage the sitewide Vibration Analysis Condition Monitoring program and record keeping
- Manage the sitewide Oil Analysis program, oil sampling and equipment records
- Provide technical expertise on small capital and expenses projects
- Assist on equipment troubleshooting and monitoring of equipment during abnormal conditions
- Provide input on equipment failure analysis, metallurgy, or non-destructive testing
