A great fit for an enlisted technician (E4-E6), this critical and client facing role provides mechanical installation and repair for new/existing super-conductive MRI systems at customer sites. Will use MRI installation/architectural drawings, field measurements and technical documentation to conduct or coordinate the successful mechanical installation of MRI systems. Provides on-site presence for system deliveries to coordinate rigging activities. Performs system inventory, cabling, cryogen filling, plumbing, initial electronics startup, ramp to full magnetic field and magnetic field shim.
Works in cooperation with other contractors and construction activities being completed at the job site. Coordinates and maintain movement and inventory of test gear, tools and installation equipment. Accurately completes and submits all documentation required for installation and maintenance of all systems. Documents and reports all installation issues or delays.
This is a high travel position with overnights and weekends. Compensation is paid on overtime, double time and travel.
