They need people with mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience (not parts changers or preventative maintenance exp) maintaining high speed rotating equipment, such as turbines and compressors with the ability to align, troubleshoot, disassemble and rebuild production equipment such as reciprocating compressors, belts, hoses, pumps, valves, motors, drives, sprockets, who show potential, are adaptable and the ability to learn. You must have experience with hand and power tools and you may also be required to do some basic welding and work on milling equipment, but they will provide you with training (OJT) for this.
A Mechanic may be required to work in one or more plant areas, doing one or multiple assignments during any given work-shift. This position requires a high level of self-management, punctuality, good attendance, and the ability to adjust to a variety of assignments.
This is a day shift position that works 7 am - 3: 30 pm that only works about 3% overtime.
Starting salary will be $27.89/hr ($58, 011/year) + minimal overtime + 1/4 bonus that can be up to 4% ($2, 268). Upward mobility to Mech 1 position that is bump in pay and rotating 12 hr shift with a little more overtime, and a great benefits package.
