In this role, the Manufacturing Operator must have operational knowledge of how his/her actions and decisions will impact financial, quality and safety metrics, you must have an understanding and adhere to plant operating procedures and guidelines, and comply with regulatory requirements in his/ her area of responsibility.
The Line owner must be able to independently perform most assignments and train new temporary workers in the area.
You will be part of either the TAB Team or Liquid Team, this is an Operator position first, you will be watching either a line of dishwasher tabs, that produces 950 tabs/minutes or one of their Lines that produces different types of liquids (soaps, furniture polish and so on). You will be checking for quality control and making minor adjustments to the line.
This position also does preventive maintenance on the line equipment. They need candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude who they can train on both the operator side and do the preventive maintenance adjustments you will need to make to keep the line running at top performance. You will be working on high speed manufacturing equipment belts, pulleys, couplings, hydraulics. They need candidates with troubleshooting and repair experience on these types of mechanical equipment.
They will supply you with all the tools you need. The need someone who is steady, will show up to work on time each day and do their job.
You will need to show you have strong communication skills as you will be working and communicating with team members on your own team, as well as team members on adjoining shifts, TRM, Area Manager, Planners, Maintenance and so on.
You will need to show you can achieve quality objectives by following all production related documentation such as control plans, work instructions, GMP guidelines (where required) and so on, to ensure we are minimizing waste, scrap, and product defects during the manufacturing stages. They need someone with a demonstrated safety background who can achieve all plant health, safety, and environmental objectives by operating safely and participating in all safety training and meetings.
You will be responsible for plant safety and policies including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), HAZCOM, Process Safety, Machine Guarding, Lock Out/Tag Out and Emergency Action.
You will also need to show you have strong supervisory skills as you will coordinate training activity of new temps to the area. They would like someone who can identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within the department.

They have openings on night shifts that run from 6pm to 615am. The schedule is 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off, giving you a 3-day weekend every other week. There is an overtime signup sheet, but you are will never be forced to work overtime.
