Job Description

In this role, you will be helping to create critical, multi-million-dollar equipment used in the semiconductor industry.
The company, who for more than 30 years, has made technologies that support areas just as advanced computing, data center storage, mobile devices, and LED technology. Their equipment makes the products you use every day.
The company helps its customers overcome some of the biggest and most complex technical challenges in their industries. Their equipment and technology are used to manufacture advanced semiconductors, LEDs, displays, photonics, power electronics, compound semiconductors, hard disk drives, and other chips.

In this role, you will be part of the highly complex process of assembling manufactured systems and sub-systems on the manufacturing floor. You will use your electro-mechanical troubleshooting and knowledge to help build these incredible machines before it's installed at the customer's locations.

Your responsibility is solely local, meaning there is no travel to the customers. You are only creating the equipment within the facility. If you desire to grow into a Field Service role in the future, that is a possible path. Due to the complexity of the systems, most people go through a step program in training, meaning you learn core areas/processes and then graduate to learn other aspects of the assembly process. This training program will take at least 12-24 months or more to fully train you and develop your knowledge. The company has no interest in throwing people into the fire without the proper training and support.

The role has two shifts, morning and afternoon. 630am to 3pm and then 230pm to 11pm. All work is Monday to Friday with opportunities to volunteer for Saturday work if desired. Due to the location, all work after 8 hours is overtime per day.

Who are you? You are a military veteran with exceptional electro-mechanical knowledge. The systems that you will be working on lean heavily toward those with electronic troubleshooting experience but with knowledge of mechanical systems as well. You should be proficient with multimeters, schematics, and possess an understanding of electronic troubleshooting, and mechanical knowledge of things like torque wrenches. You should be a capable troubleshooter who strives to be technically curious.

The openings are available due to the growth and upward mobility of their employees. This position is an excellent development area within the company to grow into other areas of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and field services, among others.

Base salary, plus overtime. Medical, dental, vision and a 401k. Stipend for public transportation, stock purchase plan, tuition program, vacation and holiday time off.
