As a Maintenance Technician you will maintain manufacturing equipment in their facility. You will need to show you have the "hands-on" troubleshooting and repair experience to work on Electro-Mechanical equipment, facilities and associated equipment. You will need to be mechanically inclined and be able to perform physical labor, lifting, operating machinery, and so on. Much of their equipment are PLCs (Allen Bradley) so if you have any experience with PLCs it will be a bonus, but they will send candidates they feel have potential for training on them as well as other maintenance disciplines including fabrication. You will need to be able to read blueprints as well. You will need to show you are self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and to learn.
Normally this is a first shift role and there is overtime. Just how much depends on orders. There could be some 12-hour days and Saturdays. Their busy time is now until early December, so you can expect 40+ hours now until December, then normal work hours at 40 per week.
$25/hr + overtime, first year should be $60+
Great benefits package including 401k with company contribution
They have a lot of PLCs and prefer candidates that have some knowledge, but they will train the right person on PLCs and other maintenance disciplines if you show you have the ability to learn and are eager.
