Their plant in Statesville, NC, is searching for a Maintenance Technician that would run preventative and corrective maintenance on the plant machinery. This is a perfect job for a Nuclear Electricians Mate or Nuclear Electronics technician from the US Navy. You'll be repairing and maintaining production lines using the same technical principles from your military days.
Skill sets: ability to perform maintenance related work utilizing multi-craft of electronics and/or electrical
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
This position requires the following essential knowledge, skills and abilities to satisfactorily fulfill the Electronics Rebuild Technician role:
-The ability to understand the function and operation of trouble-shooting equipment as well as complex electronic circuits at a competent level.
-Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and properly identify each circuit with or without schematics.
-Ability to perform board repair, utilize proper techniques for removal and installation of through hole and SMT components on PCB boards.
Hourly wage: $25 - $30/hr + overtime = $60 - $70k first year take home
