Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead a maintenance crew of millwrights, electricians, welders and contractors. Your experience leading military maintenance teams makes you a great fit for this client.
Functions and responsibilities:
To achieve maintenance goals with the highest regard for employee safety, while supporting troubleshooting and observations of machine centers with shift supervisors and other maintenance staff to ensure production and quality standards are met. Managing the department cost in an aggressive manner assuring optimum manufacturing unit cost; develop and educate key metrics.
- Maintenance Planning, planning non-emergency maintenance, coordinating PM routes
- Ensure the safety of the crew (lock-out procedures, field level risk assessments (FLRA), safety audits)
- Training and mentoring apprentices
- Creating and planning improvement projects
- Managing parts with the purchasing agent
- Scheduling and attendance
- Duties will include periodic weekend coverage
- Inspecting completed work
Base salary plus 15% bonus, great benefits, relocation. Monday - Friday,
