Maintenance Supervisor

- Communicate and coordinate maintenance and repair needs and work with the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure that all equipment operates to the highest possible standards.
- Communicates directly with QC to ensure effective participation by maintenance technicians in the implementation of QC policies and procedures.
- Assists in the hiring of Maintenance personnel.
- Assures that all Maintenance employees receive proper training.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment with consideration of all those who may be working in the same area.
- Tracks, analyzes, and improves key Maintenance parameters such as assets utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, and so on.
- Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department and reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
- Coordinates activities with the Plant Operations Departments.
- Assist with Capital improvement projects as needed.
- Enter Maintenance Data in CMMS program and ensure that the system is update and accurate.
- Perform any required Fabrication Duties needed.
- Monitor all supplies within the Maintenance shop and maintain proper inventory control.
- Coordinate continual updating of PM program to the equipment's specific needs.
- Identify problems and implement solutions.
- Ensure that your work environment is safe.
- Implements and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices.
- Coordinates Fabrication and Modification of new and existing equipment.
- Responsible for 24 hr. Emergency Maintenance service as needed.
- Carry pager/cell phone as required for on-call Maintenance services.
- Assists with planning/implementing of plant improvements and expansions.
- Assists with employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the Maintenance technicians.
- Maintains and updates operating /training manuals for the Maintenance department.
- Supervises maintenance personnel.
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
- Complete employee payroll time sheets.
- Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards.
- Required to be a member of the HACCP and Safety Committee to ensure the safety and quality of all products manufactured by ACG
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have mechanical background and be available within 60 days.
