Job Description
Knowledge of mechanical power transmission components such as couplings, bearings, and gearing, as well as any experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, drive shafts, pumps, conveyor systems and air compressors that you have learned in the military will be important skills for this position. Any welding experience would also be a bonus.
Any experience troubleshooting and repairing various engine types, AC/DC drives or knowledge or aptitude to learn electrical, hydraulic, or other mechanical systems will help you learn this position.
They have an outlined training program in place, starting with a safety training program, as safety is something they take very seriously here. Most training will be on-the-job but troubleshooting and repair experience on the above named systems and components is a must have.
They are looking for people who are independent thinkers, with well-developed leadership skills that the client can see as future leaders, along with a collaborative, team orientated mindset. They realize that you may not have all the skill sets needed for this position, but if you have a great attitude and great aptitude toward learning an exciting manufacturing process and want to continually improve every day, then this is the right opportunity for you.
Rotating 12 hour shifts 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on 4 off. Overtime is built into every 2-week shift.
Base salary, plus a production bonus, as well as a great benefits package.
