Our client is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic that would run preventative and corrective maintenance on the plant machinery. This is a perfect role for a transitioning E4/5 Machinist Mate, an AGE Mechanic or a GSM, those with hydraulics/pneumatic experience with some electrical knowledge.
The primary role of the maintenance mechanic is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning, preventative maintenance and coordination of parts, machine time and manpower.
The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the repair and upkeep of all maintenance work performed in the assigned area.
Skill Sets: Ability to perform maintenance related work utilizing mechanical aptitude: hydraulic and pneumatic
Shift: 8am-8pm 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on
Hourly Wage: $24-26/hr + OT = $60-75k first year take home
