Maintenance Manager

Job Description

A national manufacturer is seeking a military veteran to run its Maintenance program. A strong candidate should be able to:

- Work with Operations to plan maintenance repairs necessary to provide safe, reliable equipment to meet and exceed customer's needs
- Manage maintenance mechanic staff required to maintain off-highway equipment
- Schedule mechanics in a 24/7 operation
- Schedule, plan, and ensure compliance with the corporate mandated preventive maintenance program
- Must be knowledgeable of all costs for the operation of off-highway equipment
- Be responsible for hiring qualified maintenance mechanics to meet the needs of the customer
- Adhere to corporate maintenance policies, and provide maintenance staff with the tools and education to achieve this goal
- Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects
- Make swift, calculated decisions with little reliance on consensus or collaborating opinions
- Have a strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic background
- Candidate must be able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Function both effectively and independently as a member of a cross-functional team, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills, with a commitment to cooperation and collaboration among business functions
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrate strong oral and written skills, along with good analytic skills

Base salary, a 12.5% bonus and a monthly car allowance of $550
