Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and sale of aluminum rolled products, with approximately 13 facilities in three geographically aligned business units in North America, Europe, and China. They serve a variety of end-use industries, including aerospace, automotive, building and construction, transportation, packaging, and consumer goods. The company has approximately 5, 000 employees globally and is ranked on the Fortune 500.

Their Clayton, New Jersey facility is searching to hire on more folks in the form of Maintenance Electricians. At this facility, they manufacture aluminum foil and semi-rigid foil containers for food packaging and distribution. Basically, they are as close to recession proof as possible. The hiring managers have been in the manufacturing world for 30+ years, and your direct supervisor is prior military.

The primary role of the maintenance electrician is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance potential delays and obstacles through proper planning, preventative maintenance and coordination of parts, machine time and manpower. The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the repair and upkeep of all maintenance work performed in the area to which he is assigned.

Skill Sets: ability to perform maintenance related work utilizing electrical skill sets: being able to diagnose as well as correct issues relating to electrical problems.

- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and diagnosis issues with motor controls, transformer circuits, AC/DC theory and frequency drives.

- Able to read blue prints, specifications and building plans.

Pay Grade: $28 - $30/hr + shift differential + built in overtime + Sign-on bonus of $2500 + 5% Quarterly bonus
5+ years of electrical experience REQUIRED
