Integrated Avionics Instrument & Auto Pilot Maintenance Specialist

Job duties and responsibilities:

- Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instruments and flight control systems of the F-15
- Install, repair, modify and remove Radar and IFF Equipment aboard the F-15
- Supervise airborne radar maintenance personnel
- Inspect completed repairs and installs of airborne radar and IFF equipment
- Monitor equipment performance to detect and analyze recurring malfunctions
- Interpret installation and maintenance policies to correct defective equipment
- Diagnose recurring, malfunctions and recommend corrective actions
- Observe and ensure compliance with established safety procedures
- Conduct On the Job Training (OJT) for less experienced personnel
- Remove faulty units and install serviceable line replacement units into aircraft and perform systems checks
- Assign maintenance and repair functions to subordinates
