Instrument & Electrical Technician

You would also be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of plant instrumentation and controls. - Technicians must be familiar with all equipment in plants served.
A sampling of these devices includes transmitters, switches, analyzers, programmable controllers, proximity devices, level control systems, control valves, equipment, and personnel safety systems, pay meter systems, and others.
Within each category are a variety of pneumatic and electronic devices.
Technicians are also responsible for troubleshooting and working with Instrument Engineering Support to maintain distributed control systems.
This is the most rapidly changing technical area and requires a high level of technical training.
The facility is comprised of two air separation plants, supporting pipeline and merchant gas businesses. Liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon products are manufactured and delivered to a customer base in and around the St. Louis metro area.
This position is a Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift. There will be minimal overnight travel (maybe once every three months) and you will be required to be on an on-call rotation, which should be a call-in roughly once a month.
